- 400g caster sugar
- 225g butter, melted
- 60g cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 eggs
- 225g plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 60g walnut halves (optional)
- 150g melted milk chocolate
- Method:
- Combine all the ingredients together and mix
- Line a piece of parchment paper on rectangular 23x33cm baking tin
- Bake at 180 C / Gas mark 4 for 20 - 25 minutes
- Make sure the brownies are cooled once you start slicing them into equal squares.
